HISTORY

Griggs Zachry, President, founded Zachry Construction in 1995.

David Zachry, VP Operations, joined Zachry Construction in 2003 after 5 years as a field engineer with Batson-Cook Company.

Based in West Point, Georgia, Zachry Construction specializes in a unique custom home building experience while also having the bonding ability to bid and timely deliver commercial projects. With an Alabama General Contractor's License as well as a Alabama Home Builder/Remodeling License, we have successfully completed numerous projects in East Central Alabama and West Central Georgia including Chambers, Lee, Randolph, Troup, Harris, and Coweta counties.

While most trades are subcontracted out, we self perform all concrete/foundation work as well as all finish carpentry/millwork/specialty trim whether it be commercial or residential.

Keeping a small but dedicated workforce allows Owners to get to know our employees and develop one on one relationships.

We strongly believe that communication is the key to a successful project whether large or small. Keeping owners, architects, & engineers properly informed leads to cost effective projects built in a timely fashion.
